We've been passionately chasing the smallest glow: a spark on the edge of a character's silhouette, a soft beam falling through pink leaves, a trail of fire across a dark frame. That's exactly where Light Leaks & Glow brushes have begun.
“I sipped it from real fantasy aesthetics. But the goal was never to make light feel frozen within so-very-common enchanted forests and stuff. I wanted every illustrator to have a simple, beautiful way to add that cinematic glow, whether it’s a tiny spark on a character or a whole scene.”
We made this collection for artists who work with light not just as an effect, but as a storytelling device. You might be there to build a fantasy environment, enhance concept art, design magical props, paint character scenes, or add accents to game art and animation frames — and the brushes do the job, shaping illumination with glow and emotion.

Light Leaks and Glow Brushes FAQ
What are Light Leaks and Glow Brushes?
They’re digital brushes designed to create luminous effects: soft leaks, glowing trails, bright glares, magical sparks, fireflies, light beams, neon strokes, and atmospheric background glow.
What’s the difference between Light Stamp, Light Trail, Light Glare, and Background Light brushes?
Light Stamp brushes are ready-made glowing accents for sparks, fireflies, flashes, and magical details. Light Trail brushes create flowing movement, neon writing, energy lines, and flame-like strokes. Light Glare brushes are for brighter highlights, lens-like flares, and intense points of illumination. Background Light brushes help build atmosphere — soft beams, haze, ambient glow, and dreamy light leaks.
Do I need to be experienced with lighting to use them?
No. The brushes are made to make lighting easier and more intuitive. You can use them as subtle finishing touches or build an entire glowing scene from scratch. A basic understanding of layers and blending modes will help, but you don’t need to be a lighting expert.
What can I create with this set?
The collection works beautifully for fantasy illustration, concept art, character lighting, magical props, game assets, animation frames, posters, book covers, and editorial artwork. You can paint glowing potions, fire trails, fireflies, enchanted plants, neon lettering, spell effects, sunset leaks, moonlit haze, and other luminous details.
Which apps do they work in?
The set is prepared for major illustration apps, including Photoshop, Procreate, Affinity Designer in Pixel Persona, and Clip Studio Paint.
Do they hold up for print and large artwork?
Yes. The brushes are made for high-resolution creative work, so they can be used in posters, covers, packaging, game art, social media visuals, and editorial illustrations. For the best result, work on a large canvas from the start.
Is a pen tablet required?
A tablet or Apple Pencil is strongly recommended. Many glowing strokes look more natural when they respond to pressure, movement, and hand direction. You can still use some stamp-style brushes with a mouse, but trails and painterly effects will feel much better with a stylus.
Can I use the included color palette with all brushes?
Yes. The 30-color palette was selected to support the full range of effects in the set: warm fire, cool magic, soft sunlight, neon glow, twilight blues, and fantasy accents. You can use it as a starting point or mix your own colors for a custom mood.
