Chills and Pies
We allowed ourselves to play with the image of the Red Riding Hood a bit more — just to see how she would fit Tim Burton's universe and how our shader brushes would fit her.
Our goal was to recreate the pale moonlight illuminating the deep darkness of the night by using only the black-and-white palette and shader brushes. The red dressing doesn't count. To do so, we used brushes 1-4. They have a similar style but differ in grain, density, and pattern. It allowed us to create smooth transitions and mimic glow and shading with a minimum of tools.
Grim Shader Brushes enable an artist to smoothly add a texture to an object, whether they want it subtle or intense.
It includes 10 brushes applicable in various techniques, from flat art to complex 3D illustrations, as nothing will beat them in terms of adding volume or setting the forefront, medium plan, and background inside the image.
